The Imperial Hotel successfully rose to Ty Gobaith’s Business Challenge turning the Conwy Hospice’s £50 challenge deposit into a cheque for over £850.
This is the fourth year the hotel has been involved with the Business Challenge and general manager Geoff Lofthouse is delighted with the result; “The Events Office come up with fresh fundraising ideas every time and this year’s Motown Night in Speakeasy and the personal challenges a number of our staff have undertaken have been a great success. The Business Challenge is an effective fundraising concept and I would like to thank everyone who has supported us in returning a healthy 1600% profit for Ty Gobaith, in particular Gary Carr, Harry Pritchard and Tom Buckley who were our DJs for the Motown night and Event Lounge for supplying their photo booth.”
On receiving the cheque from The Imperial Hotel, Beverley Bradley, Area Fundraiser for Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice said; “Every year we need to raise over £5 million to maintain our services with every penny we raise helping us to continue to provide care and support for our very special children and their families, so we are not only delighted but also extremely grateful to everyone at The Imperial Hotel for taking part in the Challenge and for their successful fundraising on our behalf.”
