Although we can’t promise a white Christmas, we can assure you of a magical festive season in Llandudno.
There are plenty of events to get you into the festive spirit as well as opportunities for you to find that special handpicked gift, and with our Special Breaks you can enjoy a traditional time while being spoilt in the luxury of The Imperial Hotel.
Food lovers and those looking for unusual gifts will not want to miss the Llandudno Christmas Fayre on 19-22 November or the Celtic Winter Fayre on 26-30 November. Both are large events with over 100 food and craft stalls including continental foods and cooking demonstrations, plus stalls selling an array of wonderful gifts from jewellery and ceramics to leather goods and handcrafted wood items, as well as one or two pet stalls so you can treat your four-legged family member.
Join the Victorian Santa Trains at Ffestiniog for a traditional Victorian family Christmas day out with carol singing on the platform, sherry and mince pies for the adults and for the children there’s a flying visit from Santa to hand out presents. Santa also makes an appearance at the Welsh Highland Railway but this time he brings along his elves to help him entertain everyone on the festive trains from Caernarfon.
Meanwhile at GreenWood Forest Park they’re hosting an Enchanted Christmas with an amazing indoor play centre and festive Grotto. However, for us, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a trip to the Pantomime, and this year’s festive extravaganza at Venue Cymru is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with Strictly Come Dancing star Robin Windsor. Guests who are staying with us on our Christmas Break will enjoy the best seats in the house for the fairest pantomime of them all on Boxing Day.
When it comes to celebrating the festive season with family, friends or work colleagues then one of our Party Nights is a cracker of an evening! Dig out the flares and platforms for the golden days of disco as we take you back to the 70s, 80s and 90s at our Retro Nights on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 December. Enjoy a Snowball on arrival before a two course menu, and then roll back the years with our Resident DJ playing retro music so you can dance the night away. We also have Traditional Party Nights on Friday 11, Saturday 12, Friday 18 and Saturday 19 December, with a glass of Sparkling Wine on arrival followed by a delicious festive three course menu and dancing to one of our resident DJs. Christmas for many of us is also a time when we need some inspiration for presents, and with a modern shopping arcade blending with a host of independent boutiques, Llandudno is the perfect destination for Christmas shopping. And after a hard day’s shopping there’s nothing better than relaxing with Afternoon Tea. Throughout December we will be serving Festive Afternoon Teas on The Terrace, so sit back, unwind and enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, homemade fruit scone with Strawberry Conserve and Cornish Clotted Cream, a slice of homemade Christmas Cake, Mince Pie, Opera Cake and Macaroons with a pot of freshly brewed tea of your choice, and all for only £12.75. We will also be serving Festive Lunches throughout December with a sumptuous two course feast for only £17 or three course for £21.

In the evening guests can enjoy a fabulous buffet followed by entertainment. On Boxing Day there’s a trip to the pantomime followed by a Four Course Gala Farewell Dinner.
