At The Imperial we have resident musicians every week.
On Wednesday’s and Friday’s we have international harpist Dylan Cernyw, Thursday’s we have pianist Mark, and Fridays Carly and Russ join us with a singing and pianist duet.

Visit the Band Stand throughout the summer to enjoy the musical delights from the resident town band throughout the summer.
August
21st – Llandudno Motorcycle Show, North Shore
Motorcycle enthusiast or not, the Llandudno Motorcycle show is one not to be missed! Take a trip down memory lane and through the years as motorcycle owners are invited to display their bikes on Llandudno Promenade all in the aid of charity. They’ll be a wide range of makes, models, colours, and sizes to take a look at.
26th – 28th – Great Orme Blues & Rock Festival
This August Bank Holiday experience the best of the best in blues and rock. Taking place at the foot of the Orme, listen to The Animals Greatest Hits show performed by previous members of The Animals – a must see!
September
1st – 30th – Cadw Open Doors
Throughout September you’re in for a treat! Cadw is opening its doors to hundreds of Wales’ historic sites offering free entry, guided tours and events.
MOSTYN will be opening its doors for FREE for visitors to enjoy the RIBA award-winning modern architectural space which combines art and architecture for internationally significant contemporary art exhibitions. MOSTYN also supports over 400 independent artists, makers and craftspeople through the shop too.
1st – Male Voice Choir Concerts at St John’s Methodist Church, Llandudno
Visit the atmospheric St John’s Methodist Church and see the Male Voice Choir – on every Thursday until the end of September.
3rd – Goldwing Light Parade Llandudno
Watch the annual Goldwing Light Parade which showcases 150+ Honda Goldwing Motorcycles which will parade around Llandudno from 8pm until 8.45pm showing off their fantastic light displays.
21st – RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 3 Tour
Start your engines, and get ready for RuPaul’s Drag Race as it makes its way to Venue Cymru. Expect a night of endless extravaganza, seeing all 12 queens from Series 3.
25th – Llandudno Triathlon
Head on over to Llandudno pier for the start of the Llandudno Triathlon. Starting with a swim out into the Irish Sea to back on dry land for the bike section which will take participants around two laps of Marine Drive, followed by a run along the beach to the finish line. A great day out for the whole family.
27th – Mamma Mia
Watch the most exhilarating smash-hit musical – at Venue Cymru for one week only! Set on a Greek island, Sophie’s journey through love, friendship and identity. Featuring the timeless music classics from ABBA.
October
Welsh National Opera – Migrations
From October until the end of November you can enjoy the delights of the Welsh National Opera. This year’s theme is ‘Migrations’. With a range of different events on there is certainly something for every Opera fan. Visit Venue Cymru site for more details.
22nd – Penrhyn Old Hall Ghost Hunt, Llandudno
This Halloween why not go on a ghost hunt through the ominous Penrhyn Old Hall. Dating as far back as the 14th Century and possibly further, this hall is shrouded in mystery and teeming with spirits. Stories of murder, dismembered body parts, skeletons, and more plague this medieval home.
Will you catch a glimpse of the monk who’s supposed to walk across the room above the Baronial Hall? Or will you come face to face with the young girl that was murdered by her sisters for trying to marry outside the Catholic faith?
24th – Strictly Ballroom Musical
Love all things Strictly? Well you’re not going to want to miss this! The Strictly Ballroom Musical comes to Llandudno – directed by the one and only Craig Revel Horwood. This musical is based on Baz Luhrmann’s award-winning film, featuring Strictly Come Dancing’s Kevin Clifton and BBC’s Eastenders Maisie Smith.
29th – BRC Cambrian Rally
Now in its 66th year, the Cambrian rally is one of the most recognised rallies throughout the UK. Whilst the event takes place in world-class forest stages, we are in prime location in Llandudno, at the finish line, where the champion is crowned right on Llandudno’s seafront.
